Ever wondered why our Squadron crest has a swan surrounded by flames, or why we wear the uniform...

We do a host of different activities in the Air Training Corps and we try to enable every cadet...

Squadron History

On the 11th February 1941, an Air Training Corps (ATC) Squadron was formally established in High Wycombe and given the number 332 Squadron

For many years, the Squadron occupied premises in Rutland Street until 12th January 1997 when the building was destroyed by fire. Fortunately for us, the US Navy came to the rescue and offered the Squadron a new home within their premises at RAF Daws Hill, still within High Wycombe. The new accommodation was officially opened on 1st March 1998. The Squadron has always enjoyed excellent relations with the Town Council and residents of High Wycombe and the Squadron's history; together with its links to 332 Squadron RAF, a Second World War Norwegian-manned fighter squadron; have been brought together in the official Badge of the Squadron, our Squadron Crest which you see below.

During 2007 the US Navy began a staged withdrawal from the London area including RAF Daws Hill and the land was sold to developers for housing. As part of the agreement 332 (High Wycombe) Squadron were to be guaranteed a site within the new development to maintain their connection with RAF Daws Hill. 332 (High Wycombe) Squadron moved into temporary accommodation within the development area in 2016.

332 Squadron provides a range of training activities for its members. We firmly believe that everyone is good at something, they may just not have found out what that something is yet! Consequently, we aim to encourage our cadets to discover hidden talents and abilities, to develop their self discipline, motivation, teamwork and leadership skills. Although no activity is compulsory, we encourage everyone to take part in as much as possible and try their hardest in everything they do, in keeping with the Squadron's motto.

Difficulty Will Not Deter Us!
